Hello, I am Nixon.

I create amazing things on the internet for a living and I love what I do.

My name is Nixon Pang and I'm a Programmer with professional experience in creating responsive websites and mobile applications for both Android and iOS.

I am currently working as a Full Stack Developer at a boutique tech firm in Hong Kong.

While I have the right to work in both Canada and Hong Kong, I'm open to relocation on a global level should an opportunity arises.

I am active on LinkedIn and I update my personal projects on Github regularly. I also reply to questions on Stack Overflow every now and then.

Who Am I?

I was born in Hong Kong and can speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English. I completed my secondary and higher educations in the UK, and graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. After working in the field for a year, I have decided to pursue a career in Software Development and am currently a Full Stack Developer at a sports-related company.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new technologies to learn as well as exercising such as practicing Muay Thai and occasional gaming with friends. I also enjoy travelling a lot, hopefully I can do that once COVID is gone.

My Tech Stack

I use variety of technologies for both work and personal tasks, and am always looking to learn more to improve my skills.

For frontend, I mainly use HTML, CSS, SCSS, Vue.js and Nuxt.js. Furthermore, I have experience in using Bootstrap and Tailwind.

For backend, I prefer using Golang. Although, I mainly use Typescript, Node, PHP and MySQL during work.

For mobile, Flutter is my favoured method for developing both Android and iOS applications.
